Prof. Dr. Armin Schäfer is Professor of Political Science with a focus on »International Comparative Political Economy« at the University Osnabrück. His research interests lie in the interface between Comparative Political Economy, Empirical Democracy Research and Political Theory. Professor Schäfer spoke about »More market, less turnout? The consequences of liberalization policy for election turnout« (»Mehr Markt, weniger Beteiligung? Die Folgen von Liberalisierungspolitik für die Wahlbeteiligung«).
